Our lesson studios at our Leominster location are home to talented and experienced instructors who teach a wide variety of instruments and musical styles. We're proud to help students of all ages discover their love of music and develop their skills.

We've also had the privilege of supporting young musicians through our FutureStars showcases, giving teens the opportunity to perform at local venues while raising more than $25,000 for area school music programs.

Some of the young musicians who first stepped onto a FutureStars stage have gone on to become professional performers—a reminder of just how powerful music can be.

Music Has Been Our Passion Since 2003

What started as a small music store in Gardner, Massachusetts, in 2003 has grown into a thriving local and online music business serving musicians in our community and around the country.

City Music was founded by Marc Rines and Nancy Karuzis with a simple goal: to create a place where musicians could find great instruments and gear, get knowledgeable advice, and feel at home. In 2006, Marc opened a second location in Leominster, Massachusetts. Today, our Leominster store is at the heart of City Music, alongside our growing online business.

City Music is now owned and operated by father-and-son team Marc and Stephen Rines. Together, they continue to build on the same values the business was founded on—great products, competitive prices, knowledgeable service, and a genuine passion for music.
