FutureStars Showcase 2018 Performers

We’re excited about this year’s Showcase bands featuring new groups and returning players, all passionate about music. Mark your calendar! Sunday, March 25th at 4pm at the Bull Run, in Shirley, MA.

Be sure to buy your tickets from your favorite musician. Not only will you support these aspiring musicians, you will support music in our public schools. Proceeds from the 2018 Showcase will be donated to the Gardner public school music programs. Since 2005, FutureStars has generated more than $20000 for public school music. City Music Welcomes Joanna Katzen

Performing Songwriter Joanna Katzen is teaching at our Gardner Lesson Studios

We are so pleased to have Joanna join City Music. She is a Berklee College of Music graduate with great teaching experience. She has taught privately and in workshops, and has performed professionally. Her passion for music will inspire you.

Ms. Katzen welcomes students of all ages for:

Voice lessons
Piano lessons
Guitar lessons, including:

Contemporary, folk, finger-style and beginning classical

Joanna’s music skills are perfect for any level student. Whether your music interest is new or your are re-visiting a favorite pastime, Ms. Katzen tailors her lessons to suit your preferences. She will make your musical efforts a success.

Its an impressive line-up of bands and soloists playing both cover and original material in a variety of genres. Come see what these young people – all 18 and younger – have accomplished on their own and with friends. It is very likely that you will witness the early performance of true Future Stars.

Tickets are on sale from the performers and at City Music for $15 ($20 at the door). Be sure to support your favorite performer as the band and soloist that sells the most tickets will win recording time courtesy of The Root Cellar
