and winner Sherry Cutler

Congratulations to the Leominster Music Booster guitar raffle winner, Sherry Cutler!

Sherry won a beautiful Fender CD60CE  acoustic-electric guitar with a hard shell case, donated by Fender Guitars and City Music (a $429.99 value).  The raffle was drawn at City Music’s FutureStars Showcase on April 7th, where several local teen musicians played for family and friends at the Bull Run Restaurant.   Proceeds from the Showcase and guitar raffle will benefit the Leominster public school music programs through the Leominster Music Boosters.

Since 2005, City Music has donated for than $10,000 to the public school music programs in Gardner and Leominster.  The benefits of music education has been scientifically proven through numerous studies; children who study music perform better scholastically.  City Music is proud to support our local schools in providing music education.

Stay tuned for the the unveiling of the FutureStars’ proceeds, TBA.
