A drum instructor will make learning drums easier. Whether you want to improve your technique for the battery drumline in marching band or want to master drum kit styles, an instructor will get you from beginner to expert faster.
Matthew brings more than 40 years for drumming experience to our City Music studios. Studying since he was 8 years old, Matt has trained under Simplex Minutemen Drum Corp leaders Bill Jamsa and Tom Ruckey. His education has included set drumming and timpani among other percussion and techniques.
Since his Drum Corp days, Matt has been teaching drums, and playing with many local rock, jazz and alternative bands. He is a current member of the alternative rock band “The Hard Realty”. The group is just finishing their third recording project.
