Summer Rock ‘n’ Roll Fun at City Music
City Music Leominster’s
Rock ‘n’ Roll School
with John Nickerson
Musicians 18 years or younger,
this is your chance to
play, sing and jam in a band.
We’re putting young musicians together to experience the fun of playing in a group and working towards a live performance. You can do it!
Groups will be assembled by age, interest and instrument suitability. City Music staffer and professional musician John Nickerson will oversee each session assisting in repertoire choices and arrangements while supervising rehearsal technique. Players should be able to play basic chords and rhythms on their instruments as the sessions will focus on working together towards a future performance.
8 Weekly 90 minute Sessions held Sundays 4 – 5:30 or 5 – 7:30 pm, in Leominster only.
Sessions Dates run June 29th through August 24th. (no rehearsals July 6th)
Summer Rock ‘n’ Roll School fee is $260.
Hurry! Sign up now! The fun starts June 29th. Only two groups will be formed, so space is limited. Click here for the application.

Andy Cummings
Ken Macy‘s newest CD “Outlines” has been nominated for Best CD. Metronome Magazine’s review says “Over his last five albums, Ken Macy has proven himself to be a diverse and creative songwriter. His newest offering, Outlines is just more proof of his burgeoning talents. Good Stuff! ” We certainly think so!
Andy Cummings‘ has two nominations: Best CD for his newest collection of work “Backyard Superhero” and one for Best Solo Acoustic Act. Andy has been called a ‘human jukebox’. He is known for a repertoire that spans many generations and genres of music, all done with style. When he is not teaching guitar lessons at his City Music Studio, he is sure to be performing nearby.
Ken and Andy have received several WMA awards in the past. Good Luck in 2013!
