Congratulations to City Music’s Joanna Katzen

for her third place award at the Rock Harbor Brewery’s songwriting contest in Rockland, Maine.

Joanna won the attention of the judges –  including Paul Benjamin of the North Atlantic Blues Festival, and frequent Nashville songwriting judge – for the content and performance of her original “Icy Inside”.

The “Un-Love Song” competition drew a number of talented contestants from throughout New England.  The songs and performances were rated according to the level of creativity, musicality, lyrics, and melody.
