FutureStars Showcase 2019 Highlights

An amazing Showcase this year, with lots of talented, dedicated young musicians.  The Midnight Riders sold the most tickets and received the headliner spot to end the show.  Check out these clips:

Proceeds from this year’s FutureStars event will be donated to the Leominster Public Schools music programs during the Leominster Starburst concert in June.  Stay tuned!

FutureStars Showcase Bands for 2019

We’ve got a great bunch of performers for our Showcase this year, with new and returning musicians.  Please support these up-and-coming young players by buying your tickets from your favorite band. Tickets are $15 in advance – $20, day of the show.  Proceeds will benefit the Leominster Public School music programs.

From Leominster, after a big year of performing at open mics and opening acts, Zabelle, returns to our stage with new original songs. Follow her on YouTube
Veteran FutureStars from Sterling, The Crushers have become seasoned performers playing locally with an expanded playlist and new originals. Follow them on Instagram
Stones n’ Rotation are back after a busy year as a working band, highlighted by their LTV Music Special in October. Check it out on YouTube
From Rutland, MA, rock n roll band The Midnight Riders play favorites from the 60’s and 70’s, as well as original songs. Follow them on Instagram
These seven musicians from Fitchburg, Leominster and Lunenburg, have joined forces to play at FutureStars as The Longhorn Stompers. The group is planning a dynamic set of covers from Traffic, Pink Floyd & the Grateful Dead for the Showcase.
Corner Booth comes to us from Groton where they regulars at the GDHS and Grange open mics. They play mostly original music, with influences by the Beatles, Steve Miller and Green Day. They are working on their first EP. Follow them on Instagram
City Rockers band The Aquatic Alpacas will make their debut performance at FutureStars with covers of the White Stripes, Twenty One Pilots and more.

FutureStars Showcase 2018 Performers

We’re excited about this year’s Showcase bands featuring new groups and returning players, all passionate about music.  Mark your calendar! Sunday, March 25th at 4pm at the Bull Run, in Shirley, MA.

The Crushers, Chocksett Middle and Wachusett Regional students, are returning for their second performance at FutureStars.  They’ll be playing rock/alternative rock and debuting original music too.

Its an impressive line-up of bands and soloists playing both cover and original material in a variety of genres.  Come see what these young people – all 18 and younger – have accomplished on their own and with friends.  It is very likely that you will witness the early performance of true Future Stars.

Tickets are on sale from the performers and at City Music for $15  ($20 at the door).    Be sure to support your favorite performer as the band and soloist that sells the most tickets will win recording time courtesy of The Root Cellar
