Learning a new band instrument is challenging at any age, but private instruction from Michael Wong will help you learn faster. Michael teaches a variety of instruments: clarinet, saxophone, flute, trumpet, trombone, cornet, and recorder. If your youngster is in school band for the first time, he can help them master the basics quickly and become a leader of their section. Students that receive private instruction are more likely to stick with their instrument, and stick with school band through the high school years.

Since 2009, Michael has been teaching at the elementary level for the Worcester Public Schools and was voted “Teacher of the Year” at The Worcester Arts Magnet School (WAMS) in 2016, in part due to his patient demeanor with his instrumental students.
