DRUMMERS WANTED! City Music is hosting this first outdoor extravaganza for drummers of every age and stage. This is your chance to get behind a real drum kit. Whether you have always wanted to see how it feels, or you are one that loves to keep the beat: Drummers – This is Your Day!
All demo participants will receive FREE GIFTS provided by Zildjian, Ludwig and City Music. We’ll have our drum pros on hand – instructors from the City Music Lessons Studios -to show how easy it is to get started with rhythm. Learn a simple beat on the spot, or if you’ve got the beat – try jamming with the City Music Rockin’ All Star Staff – including Johnny ‘Romance’ Nickerson, and bass player Iain Perry of Rampage.
Thinking an electronic set would keep the peace at your house? You can get behind our Yamaha DTXplorer with MS40DR drum monitors and check out the huge variety of sounds and effects an electronic drum set offers – head phones optional!
Have you wanted to try hand percussion? Curious about the drum circle phenomenon? Try out our bongos or djembes. Local hand drum percussionist, Chris Landry, will show you how easy hand drumming can be. Chris will host a drum circle – open to all abilities – and take the mystery out of group drumming.
